Your Progress shows an estimate of typing time saved, your dictated words, days used, and speaking speed. These figures are for this computer.
Open your progress
- Open Voicy.
- If Home shows See your progress, click it.
- Read This month and All time for the estimated time saved.
- Open How is this calculated? for an explanation of the figures.
If you do not see the progress option yet, choose and save your own recording shortcut, then keep using Voicy. The Home shortcut to progress appears after enough recorded use. New word and day tracking starts with this feature; it does not reconstruct every older recording.
Understand the numbers
Typing time saved is an estimate based on recording time, not a measurement of how quickly you personally type. Word counts come from successfully pasted normal dictations. Rewriting and file transcripts are not counted the same way.
Share a progress picture
- Click Share your progress.
- Choose This month or All time.
- Use Copy image or Download image to keep the picture.
- Read and edit the suggested message before sharing it in your chosen app.
