Change or hide the recording box

The small floating Voicy box shows recording and processing status. You can change how it appears from Settings.

Make the box smaller

1. Open Voicy → Settings.
2. Turn on Minimal recording window.
3. Start a short recording to check the smaller layout.

Turn the switch off to return to the larger box.

Hide it when you are not recording

Turn on Auto-hide recording window in Settings. The box will appear when you record. You can still use your shortcut while the box is hidden.

Choose the behaviour with several monitors

1. Open Settings → Advanced settings → Open.
2. Find Show recording window on every display.
3. Turn it on for a box on each connected display, or off for a single recording window that follows the display you work on.

Find the box again

Open Voicy's icon menu near your computer's clock and choose Show recording window. If Auto-hide recording window is on, also try starting a recording.
