Send a recording problem to support
Choose a History entry, describe the problem, and decide whether to share its audio.
A problem report helps the Voicy team understand what happened with one particular recording. You choose whether to send it.
Open a report
- Open Voicy → Home and scroll to History.
- Find the recording that went wrong.
- Click Report beside that entry.
- Describe what happened and what you expected. Include the app you were writing in if that matters.
Check what you are sharing
The report includes your description, the selected transcript or error, and Voicy's local diagnostic log. Where available, it can include both the original transcription and the formatted version to help explain a text error.
If Attach the recording of this transcript is shown, it is checked initially. Untick it if you do not want to share your voice recording. Even with audio unticked, the report still shares the selected text and diagnostic information.
Send the report
- Read the information in the report window.
- Check your description and recording choice.
- Click Send report.
- Wait for Report sent.
Submitted reports and attachments are retained for 30 days so the team can investigate. This is separate from normal dictation processing, where Voicy does not retain your recordings or transcripts.
If you cannot send a report
Email [email protected]. Tell us your computer type, Voicy version, and the error you see. Do not include passwords. If the app says the report could not be sent, check your internet connection before trying again.
