Use Voicy in another app
Write in a document, email, message, or website using your normal shortcut.
Keep Voicy open while you use your usual apps. You start a recording from the place where you want the text to appear.
Write in another app
- Open the app or website you want to use.
- Click inside a writing area, such as the body of an email or a blank document.
- Look for the blinking line that shows where text will go.
- Tap your Voicy recording shortcut and speak.
- Tap the shortcut again to stop, then wait for the text.
Keep the writing area selected until the result arrives. Moving to another window can change where the text is pasted. Voicy writes into the field; you still choose when to send a message or submit a form.

If the app does not accept the text
Open Voicy → Home → History, click Copy beside the text, return to the writing area, and paste. On Mac, press Command + V. On Windows and Linux, press Ctrl + V.
Some fields, such as a locked document or a page you can only read, do not accept typing. Follow Text is not appearing if pasting still does not work.
