I've been using Voicy on desktop for over a year and the fact that it's now on mobile too is amazing. I was using a similar well known product on mobile to bridge the gap, but Voicy is more reliable and is over half the price. If you're not using a Transcription tool of some sort you're missing out. BLOWN AWAY!! I've cut down my work time on my laptop significantly with this app! So easy to use and it's really nearly 100% accuracy. I don't even think I had to correct it once after months of use. It also works with 50+ other languages, and in testing, it's incredible as well!! I now speak my emails, speak to Claude, and basically any other field that has a text option, I'm speaking it! LOL Kourosh himself is incredible, replying to emails super fast! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is the best app for voice to text that I ever used. I've been frustrated since the days of DragonSpeak and all programs since. Even if I seem to stutter or make a mistake, it realizes that and doesn't write the improper part. It is able to accommodate multiple languages at the same time. It works on my phone and computer and in all my text program/sites. This is fantastic. I recommend this to all my friends and colleagues now.

Damn! This was just the Speech to Text tool I was looking for. Its super fast and reliable, and works every time. Is this era of writing prompts, I am using voicy to speak my thoughts to the LLMs, and have them understand my natural language to get exactly what I need without the hassle of typing everything out. I love it, I was looking for a voice to text app to not have to type long responses to my work team and found this. I think most people don't realize they needed it until they find it lol. It does the job really well and I have tested some other ones but really like that this is looking really clean and it's by far more accurate than all I tested like dictanote, it also works in the chrome new tabs. The founder Kourosh offers personal support and it's amazing to see how fast and available he is. I mainly speak English and French and found out English voice to text is great but French voice to text demanded me to change language settings from Auto-detect to French to get the same accuracy I get when I speak English. Otherwise it was a bit weird. So may be that helps someone. Hope it keeps adding features, because I think there's so much that can be done with this. Thanks Kourosh ! Show less

I am amazed by the sheer power, speed, and accuracy of this add-on. It does exceptionally well what others fail to do, which is recognize terminology outside of common day language. For my purposes, it is amazing. I would really appreciate if this add-on was made into Firefox as well as standalone Windows add-on. I use several Windows applications outside of Chrome, and a standalone version would make my life so much easier. In fact, I wrote this entire review using the Voicy add-on.

I have used this extension for about six weeks. I've tried other products like it, and, so far, Voicy is the most user-friendly, and it really improves my workflow. I write so many emails in the course of a day, and it helps take the strain off my wrists and my fingers. There are a few learning curves that revolve around using "voice-2-text behavior" in regard to our phones & text messaging vs. the way Voicy operates. For example, you don't have to say the word "period" when you want to end a sentence. I find myself doing that, because I'm used to it. Another thing is, if you pause in the middle of the recording, as you're thinking about a sentence, or sentence structure, Voicy will think that's a comma, and it is a good thing it does that. I'm a paying subscriber because the app does exactly what it says and fits my needs perfectly. (I'm mostly reading handwritten notebooks into doc files, but I also use it in other situations). Anytime I've had an issue, Kourosh will make sure I solve it, even creating videos just to explain it. I've never used an app with that level of support. If this is what you want, it's absolutely worth the money.

I use the PC version with 'modes' often to brain dump and get a nice prompt for an agent in return. I'm having some issues with the Android version reliably returning a transcript. I don't know if it's large prompts, unreliable network or both. In any case I'd like to think future updates will help.

Best transcription software I trialed among so many!

I prefer to speak all of my communication, vibe code, and generally use my computer through voice. I tried so many different transcription and speech to text programs and this one is the best of them all. Allows me to speak for long periods without timing out, offers a copy function, re-transcribes in case of timeout instead of loosing all my input. Ticks all the boxes.

I downloaded Voicy because I broke my wrist and it was extremely hard to type with just one hand. Oh my gosh, did this save me. I'm especially impressed with how it transcribes my words so clearly and honestly I don't think it has messed up one time. Also it's impressive how fast it can process my audio and transcribe it. Honestly I think even after my wrist heals I'm going to continue using it because it just makes working so much faster. I have noticed that if it takes a long time to transcribe my audio, it doesn't have anything to do with the Voicy extension. I've been using Voicy daily for over a month and it's become essential. The accuracy is amazing. If the word's in the dictionary, it gets it right every time. Works exceptionally well. It even takes care of punctuation. It is not necessary to say "period" or "comma"; the app takes care of it for you. The only unnerving fact: no text appears until you finish dictating and turn off the microphone. The app records your entire speech before generating text. However, the final result is absolutely fabulous.

Works great for me.

I have been using Voicy for three months now and must say it makes my PC tasks incredibly easier. When I need to write something, I use Voicy. Normaly i struggle with typing or i'm simply too lazy to write. With Voicy I now write a lot more – so much more. I write my emails with Voicy. I can use Voicy perfectly for texts in Word or Google Docs, for example, translating from German to English – and all of that grammatically correct. I use Voicy in many chats, such as Discord or WhatsApp. With everything I use, Voicy works flawlessly. I use a microphone and have set the shortcut keys to free keys on my mouse. So I now write or speak comfortably from my chair, without even having to approach the keyboard. The Support is great, and all my questions were answered quickly, plus a few great tips. Absolutely recommended. Maybe I’ll write(speak) a book soon.

It surprised me at first, now it's part of my life.

I am using Voicy since August '25. I have to say, my experience has been nothing short of exemplary. I've long tried to master voice typing, but my accent was a major challenge. I have been involved in marketing voice recognition systems since the late 80s and I'm talking here about Kurzweil and Dragon Dictate for DOS and even though I have upgraded my Dragon Dictate as the years gone by, but nothing compares to how amazing this voice recognition program is. This app replaced 'Dragon Speaking' for me in my work with an unrelated tricky interface. The developer helped me with updates to solve little problems caused by the interface. Better than in 'Dragon', there's no need to dictate punctuation, it does it automatically. Unique terms are learned by the AI after first correction with the keyboard. I'm waiting now for Voicy to work with other browsers, programs and Office Products also offline. Thank you, Kourosh and keep on with the good work!

I saw the author mention this on reddit in the Claude forum. I tried it out and it is a nice and easy way to transcript text if you have a lot you want to say to Claude (or anywhere else I imagine) and don't want to type it all out.
