No. Voicy does not retain normal recordings or transcripts on its servers, or use them to train AI models. Online dictation sends audio for processing; offline dictation runs on your computer.

Yes. The desktop apps for Mac, Windows, and Linux support offline dictation in 25 languages after a model download. Mac offline mode requires macOS 15 or later. Rewrite Mode and Custom Modes still need internet.
Where is dictation history saved?
History is saved locally on each person's computer. Each person can turn History off for new dictations or delete saved entries in the app.
What happens when someone sends a problem report?
A voluntary problem report shares the description, diagnostics, selected transcript, and any audio attachment the person chooses to send. These reports and attachments are retained for 30 days.
